Buehrle’s first no-hitter isn’t technically a perfect game but should be considered so. The only base runner he allowed was Sammy Sosa on an intentional walk and he promptly picked him off of first base. He only faced 27 batters. In my mind, that’s a perfect game plus.

Nice wrap-up Gene. Sad to say I missed the card. Mousasi has and will continue to be a force in the LH divisionan but can his superior kickboxing stand against the likes of UFCs headliners. I think guys like Rampage, Franklin, Silva and even Jardine, who all have solid chins and agressive styles pose a major threat to a tech striker like Mousasi.

No matter how many Viking fans will now be saying “We really didn’t want him, anyway” , (as they inevitably do every time greatness slips through their fingers), my comment is that what is meant to be, is meant to be. Border wars & fanaticism set aside….(well, maybe not ENTIRELY)….IF Favre was meant to play 4 the Vikings, I guess it would’ve happened, and I’d be just one of MANY irritated & offended Packer-Backers at this point in time, but would have to suck it up.
Favre has had the career that thousands of young hopefuls can only attempt to imagine. When it’s time to live your life, there’s no changing it. It’s not like anybody will ever forget who Brett Favre was, just seems like he’s had a personal issue with the word ‘was’.
